Kathryn!!! Hey, girl this is great!
This is Ramona and I finally had some time to look at your writings. Your Mom showed me a new picture of you today, also. Wow. This is soooo great and I am very excited for you.
Subject change: Isn't it funny how we can miss certain small items, like peanut butter; usually what we miss is inexpensive but when we do manage to get that "little" something, we feel indescribably great. (My pet peeve is bread (and coffee) - I'm sure you can guess why :))
Take good care and keep writing. I can tell you have a wonderful time!
Ramona

Hi Kathryn

Your picture looks great!!

It wasn't showing anything when I looked before, but now it is very clear. Nice to see you!!

I used to be nervous everytime I started teaching a new class too, but once you start it just happens and it feels great.

I gave a power-point presentation Wednesday in the class I'm taking.
it was fun. Last time I taught (calculus), it was with a piece of chalk and a blackboard.

You come from a very long line of teachers on many branches of your family tree, so welcome to the club.

Love
Grandma

p.s. I'm taking an IRISH class starting Tuesday!

Hi Kathryn, you look beautiful!! I helped Sara with her measurements yesterday for her Sari, she is so excited. Makes me want to wire you some money to get me one as well!! I hope you didn't get any damage from the earthquake we are all reading about here, Emily says it is the end of the world with all the naural disasters we have been having!!
It sounds as if you are really enjoying your teaching. It is so wonderful you have students who really love to learn, something we often don't see her in the US.
Just to let you know you are on our minds here, and we love reading your posts. Take care and keep in touch!! Fondly, Deb Lundberg
