I'll be saying good-bye for a month

This past week I was in Ohio and New York visiting relatives one last time before I leave for Bangladesh. It's really weird saying good-bye so early, but I know I won't see most of these relatives for at least three years. I usually only see most of them once a year anyway, but somehow it seems much different this time. I guess it's finally hit me that this is REAL, and I really am leaving for Bangladesh in less than a month. I feel like I have ten thousand things to do. I'm so glad this is my last week of work. I'll have about three weeks of just focusing on getting ready, seeing friends and family, freaking out, etc.
I've been meeting tons of people from my group going to Bangladesh online. One of us set up a group on yahoo, and I think about half of the 60 or so of us going to Bangladesh have signed up for it. We seem to be from all over the US. Most of us are pretty recent college graduates. It is so nice to meet everyone! Every time I start to feel stressed out about things, I just hop online and check the message board, and I get all inspired and encouraged again. I can't wait to meet everybody in San Francisco for our staging.
